An award-winning Southern California author of speculative fiction, her short horror, sci-fi, fantasy and weird west fiction has appeared in Stoker-nominated anthologies, podcasts, magazines and games. Her books include the Monster Gunslinger series, Shrouded Horror: Tales of the Uncanny and Fantastica Horrifica.

In addition she is an editor, writing instructor, and science communicator, as well as the founder of the San Diego chapter of the Horror Writers Association. She also created Women of the Weird West, an anthology featuring weird western tales, and WeirdWestFiction.com, which showcases new authors and books in this genre.
